Cryptic Tattoo

Cryptic Tattoo was founded in 2010 by Carlos Macias. It was born from pure passion and a desire to build something of his own. Carlos started tattooing at just 12 years old after watching his father getting tattoed in the kitchen by a family friend using a handmade maching. That moment sparked a lifelong drive that would lead to the creation of Cryptic Tattoo.

For the following 15 years Cryptic Tattoo has been a staple in Azusa, California. Its become home to award winning artists such as Tattoo Louie, El Franco, Marky Chavez, Stribzer and many more. Many international artists; artists from Germany, Italy, Japan and beyond; have chosen to make this special shop an important stop in their travels to the U.S.

What began as a child's fascination has grown into an internationally recognized studio where culture, craftsmanship, and community come together.
